Privacy
Last updated 18 August 2026.
Casino Resort collects nothing. There is no account to create, no analytics package, no advertising, no third-party software development kits, and no identifier of any kind is sent anywhere. Nothing you do in the app reaches us, because there is no server of ours for it to reach.
What stays on your device
The catalogue of casinos and the legal layer are shipped inside the app itself. Everything you add sits beside them, in the app's own storage on your iPhone:
- Saved casinos and visited marks. Stored locally. They are never uploaded, and they are removed when you delete the app.
- Whether you have seen the introduction. A single setting so the introduction does not appear twice.
None of this is backed up to a service of ours, because there is no such service. If you use iCloud device backup, Apple's backup covers app data under Apple's terms.
Location
If you allow it, the app reads your location to show the casinos nearest to you and the rules of the jurisdiction you are standing in. That location is used on the device and is not transmitted, stored on any server, or attached to anything else. Refusing the request costs you only the "near me" feature. You can change your mind at any time in the Settings app.
When the app touches the network
The app works fully offline. There are two cases where it reaches out, and it is honest to name them, because each one reveals your IP address to the party at the other end:
- Photographs. Casinos that have a freely licensed photograph load it from Wikimedia Commons when you open that casino. Your request goes to Wikimedia, and their privacy policy applies to it.
- The map. Map tiles are drawn by Apple Maps, which is part of iOS. Apple's privacy policy applies to that.
The app also opens links you tap: a casino's own website, a regulator's site, driving directions, or a responsible-gambling resource. Those open in Safari or Maps, and from that point the destination's own policy applies.
Children
Casino Resort is rated 17+ and is not directed at children. It is a reference work about gambling venues and the law around them. It offers no gambling, no simulated gambling, and no way to spend money.
Your rights
Regulations such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights of access, correction, deletion and portability over personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to hand over, correct or delete. To erase everything the app has stored, delete the app from your iPhone.
Changes
If a future version of the app changes what it does with data, this page changes with it and the date above is updated. A change that introduces any collection would be described here plainly, before it ships.
